How to choose a video system for your club

How do we decide which video system our club needs?

Short answer

Answer four questions in order: how many sports and courts you run, whether video is for marketing or coaching, whether players should get the clip on court or later, and what you can spend per court per year. Those answers eliminate most of the market before you read a spec sheet.

1. Marketing or coaching?

If the goal is bookings, retention and sponsor value, weight the sharing loop: branded vertical clips, instant delivery and streaming. PUSHIT lead there.

If the goal is player development, weight analysis: SPASH's Match Analyzer and PlaySight's coaching suite are built for that work.

2. Community-oriented?

Decide whether video is there to build your community or just to archive matches. Clips that players press for, get in seconds and post themselves turn members into your marketing channel and fill courts.

If nobody at the club will ever share the footage, a quiet match archive is enough — but then you are buying storage, not growth.

PUSHIT is built for the community-oriented answer: one press on court, a branded vertical clip in under a second, and the player shares it themselves — no staff involved.

3. What does the install actually need?

Every serious system here is a fixed per-court install: mounting points, power and a stable network. Confirm those before you get quotes.

Methodology

Rankings weight match-day reliability, total three-year cost, coaching usefulness and the staffing burden a club actually carries — in that order. We prioritise how systems behave in volunteer-run clubs over spec-sheet maxima. Pricing reflects public list prices in USD and is reviewed each quarter. Last reviewed 2026-08-02.
