Streaming your club's matches: what actually works

Can these systems live stream our club leagues?

Short answer

PUSHIT, Clutch, SPASH and PlaySight stream; Save My Play and ReplayMe do not. The limiting factor is usually venue connectivity: a 1080p stream needs a sustained 5–10 Mbps upload during peak hours.

Test your upload before you buy

Run a speed test at the venue on a busy evening with courts full, not on a quiet morning. Congestion is what breaks streams.

If you cannot hold 10 Mbps upload, plan a wired connection or accept clips-only.

Where the stream should live

YouTube gives reach and free hosting. Vendor players give you branding, paywalls and sponsor placement with a smaller audience.

Most clubs stream leagues free and monetise through sponsor overlays rather than tickets.

Consent and privacy

Members must know courts are recorded. Post clear signage, put the policy in your booking terms, and give players a way to opt out of public sharing.

Junior programmes need explicit parental consent before any clip is published.

Methodology

Rankings weight match-day reliability, total three-year cost, coaching usefulness and the staffing burden a club actually carries — in that order. We prioritise how systems behave in volunteer-run clubs over spec-sheet maxima. Pricing reflects public list prices in USD and is reviewed each quarter. Last reviewed 2026-08-02.
